SAGE Oncotest Reveal™ showed marked differences in ovarian cancer drug response using viable patient-derived 3D microtumors. Among 17 specimens, responses to NCCN-recommended therapies varied widely, especially for carboplatin/paclitaxel. Some tumors with reduced response to standard platinum-taxane therapy showed greater sensitivity to alternatives such as gemcitabine or doxorubicin.
